THE LONG ROAD OF LOVE
I am a children’s illustrated book writer and nonfiction author exploring the tender, transformative landscapes of love and life.
My stories are shaped by lived experience — by joy, resilience, growth, heartbreak, and the quiet wisdom that only time can offer.
For more than 30 years, I worked as a business owner and educator, founding and leading a training college in Canberra and Sydney, Australia, specialising in holistic studies and beauty therapy. My professional life was devoted to helping others discover confidence, wellbeing, and self-worth.
But my greatest education came through life itself.
I am a wife, mother of two sons, and grandmother to five beautiful grandsons. Family, love, loss, reinvention, and the passing of time have all shaped the stories I now tell.
Today, I write from a place of seasoned perspective — reflecting on love, marriage, ageing, resilience, and the ordinary moments that quietly become the fabric of a life.
What the years taught the heart, the pen now tells.

Why Happy Couples Still Argue
After fifty years of marriage, I’ve learned that healthy relationships are not built by avoiding conflict, but by repairing it
Comment: Chris seems so gentle, even during an argument🥹 Ours are usually much more explosive than this, lol. Then we chalk it up to passion afterward. We are much more silly and immature with our spats, Steph. You and Chris have found the secret.
